Sweden investigating former Ku Klux Klan leader

Sweden said Tuesday it would investigate former U.S. Ku Klux Klan leader David Duke for hateful speech. Duke has spoken in person and participated in radio broadcasts in Sweden, including an appearance in February in Helsingborg before Nazi and ring-wing extremists from Sweden and Denmark, The Local reported. The decision overturns a previous conclusion that prosecuting a U.S. citizen living in the United States would be impossible. However, Sven-Erik Alhem, director of public prosecutions in Malmo, decided to reopen the inquiry after a man who has been tracking Duke`s work in Sweden told investigators Duke had incited hatred against Jews. siehe auch: Sweden to investigate former Ku Klux Klan leader for alleged hate speech, Sweden to investigate former Klan leader, Sweden Investigates Ex-KKK Leader For Hate Speech
