icLiverpool - Mother on race hate charge

A MERSEYSIDE mother of three is among seven alleged members of an extreme right-wing group linked to the British National Party who appeared in court yesterday to face trial for allegedly plotting to stir up racial hatred. Elizabeth Hunt, 36, of Dawson Avenue, Southport, and her partner, Mark Atkinson 38, are said to have published a magazine for the Racial Volunteer Force, an offshoot of the neo-Nazi organisation Combat 18, along with five other men. The other five men are father of four Nigel Piggins, 39, Jonathan Hill, 33, Steven Bostock, 27, Michael Denis, 30, Kevin Quinn, 40, . All seven deny conspiracy to publish or distribute material intending to stir up racial hatred, in relation to the RVF magazine. Piggins, Hill, Bostock, Quinn, Hunt and Atkinson deny a further charge of publishing or distributing material intending to stir up racial hatred, in relation to the RVF website.
