Union of Councils for Soviet Jews: Long Sentence for Murderous Vladivostok Skinhead

For the first time, a Primorsky region court has convicted someone of murder motivated by ethnic hatred. Local skinhead Ivan Nazarenko was given a “long sentence” by the Primorsky regional court on August 31, 2005, according to a September 2, 2005 report by the Sova Information-Analytical Center. Mr. Nazarenko, a local skinhead leader, was found guilty of murdering a Korean and a Chinese man in separate attacks in September 2004.
