Kansas City Star | Nazis bunked in Overland Park hotel

Web site shows meeting at KC restaurant More details have emerged about a national convention that a neo-Nazi organization held in the area last month. The National Socialist Movement, which calls itself “America's Nazi Party,” booked rooms at an Overland Park hotel under an assumed name, said Eric Strand, vice president of marketing for Drury Hotels. He said he couldn't remember the exact name the group used. Strand said the group gave employees at the company's Pear Tree Inn at Interstate 435 and Metcalf Avenue a name that led them to believe it was an organization interested in military issues.
