Member of Russian neo-Nazi band released from custody - ROMEA - www.romea.cz
Denis Gerasimov, a member of the Russian neo-Nazi band Kolovrat who was charged with promotion of Nazism and neo-Nazism, was released from custody after 15 months, Prague City Court judge Ladislav Gross told CTK today. "He was released on the basis of our order on Wednesday afternoon," Gross said. A month ago, Gerasimov was acquitted for the second time by the Prague 6 District Court, but the state attorney appealed against the verdict.
According to CTK information, she was evidently successful in this. The City Court will probably return the case to the district court. Gross has refused to elaborate. The Kolovrat band performed at a skinhead meeting in Chroustovice, east Bohemia, in January 2004.
