Hi!
We are a Chinese manufacturer with an office in California. We met Uwe Meusel and Axel Kopelke at a tradeshow in Las Vegas in August 2003. They were interested in our leather gloves and asked us to make gloves for them. They agreed on a payment term that (1) they would put down 30% of the amount as the deposit; (2) they would pay the full amount when the gloves were finished for shipping out of China.
We got the deposit ($2,328.00) from them. When the gloves were done, I contacted them and they told me they would send me the balance ($5,432.00) through wire and faxed me a wire transfer sheet to show me that they have sent us the money out already. I trusted them to be honest people and asked our factory to ship the gloves out of China. However, the money never reached our bank account. I was waiting for 2 weeks and sent many email messages to them. Never got their reply. Later on, Uwe told me they didn't actual send the money out.
Later on, they told me there are problems of the gloves and they would like to send the gloves back to China. We agreed on that and agreed to pay ocean freight shipping fee. However, they never do that as well!
I have been calling Uwe Meusel and Axel Kopelke many many times from California, but they refused to talk to me. I feel that they violate my trust and are not honest people at all.
I just want you know what is going on and will take full responsibility of all the words I said above.
