Two Men Accused of Possessing Explosive Device

Two men are behind bars accused of possessing an explosive device. While police say the men admitted they were white supremacists, one suspect Eyewitness News 8 spoke with says this isn't related to any type of hate crime. Anchor Colleen May sat down with one of the suspects in jail to hear his side of the story. Twenty-two-year-old Darrell Cooper sits in jail accused of a crime he says he didn't commit. Cooper wears a medical device to help him speak after he broke his neck earlier this year. "I had no idea what he had in the area. I had no idea. Seriously. I don't." Cooper and David Jones, who is his sister's boyfriend, were arrested Friday night after police pulled them over for expired tags.
