Boston.com - Reilly warns about CDs promoting hatred

AG fears schools could be targeted Massachusetts Attorney General Thomas F. Reilly sent letters to the superintendents of all public school districts in the state yesterday warning them about CDs that white supremacist groups are distributing at middle and high schools elsewhere in the country. The CDs, whose songs condone violence against Jews and blacks, have not turned up yet in Massachusetts, but the attorney general's office wants school administrators to recognize them if they do. (...) The CDs are produced by music label Panzerfaust Records USA, whose website sells swastika T-shirts and features the motto: ''We don't just entertain racist kids . . . we create them." The label has begun a campaign called ''Project Schoolyard USA" to distribute the CDs. Panzerfaust sells them for as little as 15 cents to white supremacist groups in different states, who distribute the music at middle and high schools, said Sarah Nathan, a Reilly spokeswoman.
