CNN.com - Swedish PM 'bomb plot' trial opens

Four neo-Nazi activists went on trial Monday, charged with planning a terrorist act after two of them wrote about blowing up Sweden's parliament building and Prime Minister Goeran Persson's official residence. The defendants -- three men and a woman -- were arrested in September 2004 after they were caught smashing hundreds of windows at schools and municipal buildings in the city of Vaesteraas, 100 kilometers (60 miles) west of the capital, Stockholm. After the arrests, police said they found documents in which the group detailed plans of attacks against Swedish political institutions. siehe dazu auch: Schweden: Neonazis wegen Terror-Umsturzplans vor Gericht.
