KAIT - Jonesboro, AR: Arkansas White Supremacists Blamed for Clash at Holocaust Ceremony in Boston
A white supremacist group from Arkansas is getting part of the blame for disrupting a Holocaust memorial ceremony in Boston. White supremacists clashed with an angry crowd outside Faneuil Hall during a Sunday commemoration of the 60th anniversary of the liberation of Nazi concentration camps. Two people, both from Massachusetts, were arrested.
Ten to 15 members of the Arkansas-based group White Revolution arrived for their scheduled demonstration and were escorted by hundreds of police officers on foot, motorcycle and horseback to a designated protest area across the street. Officers, many in riot gear, formed a barricade between the protestors and about 100 people who angrily shouted at them to leave Boston.
