icNorthWales - BNP leader accused of stirring hate in speech

BRITISH National Party leader Nick Griffin told pub-goers white British girls were being raped by Asian Muslim men, a jury was told yesterday. Leeds Crown Court heard Griffin, 45, and fellow party activist Mark Collett, 24, face race-hate charges arising out of speeches featured in an undercover BBC documentary on the party. (...) After making a series of allegations about Muslim gangs grooming and raping children in Keighley, Griffin said: "The bastards that are in that gang, they are in prison so the public think it's all over. Secretly filmed tirades against Muslims and Asians by the leader of the British National party, Nick Griffin, were described to a jury yesterday, including claims that rape and paedophilia against non-believers were countenanced by the Qur'an.
