Anti-fascism protests to mark nail bomb anniversary | Gay.com UK
Anti-racism groups are to mark tomorrow's anniversary of the Soho nail bomb by handing out leaflets in the heart of London's gay community encouraging people to vote. A group of key organisations will be calling on LGBT people to turn out and vote next week in a bid to ensure the British National Party (BNP) does not see election success.
The presence coincides with the nail bomb attack on Soho's Admiral Duncan pub, which took place six years ago this Saturday. The attack's perpetrator David Copeland was a believer in right-wing ideology and had intended to launch a war against minorities, including lesbian and gay people. He was also a BNP supporter.
