Sunday Times: Police not ready to talk to van Tongeren
WEST Australian police say they are not actively searching for neo-Nazi group leader Jack van Tongeren, who allegedly threatened state Attorney-General Jim McGinty.
However, police said today they were still investigating Mr van Tongeren's group, the Australian Nationalist Movement (ANM) over graffiti attacks and alleged threats made against a number of people.
Mr McGinty last week abandoned an interstate meeting and flew home to Perth, telling reporters he was afraid for his family's safety after police informed him they had exposed a plot by the ANM to harm him.
