FJC | Neo-Nazis Hack Into Key Russian Jewish Internet Portal

Last night, neo-Nazi hackers broke into the Global Jewish Online Portal (jewish.ru), which is operated by the Federation of Jewish Communities of Russia. The nationalist-extremist group 'Slavyansky Soyuz' (Slavic Union) publicly claimed responsibility for hacking into this website, posting an announcement to this effect on the home page of this Jewish site. Unfortunately, that was not all that the Fascist virtual vandals left behind on the site's home page – they attached a picture featuring Nazi symbols and a link to their Russian nationalist site. In the past, there have been repeated attempts to hack the jewish.ru website, each of them being linked to Russian-based neo-nationalists. On December 11th, members of the same organization claimed responsibility for hacking another Jewish website Rabbi.ru. This website is one of the side projects run by the publishers of the Jewish Global Online Portal jewish.ru. On that occasion, the hackers also posted anti-Semitic slogans on its home page.
