Police end neo-Nazi concert

A special police squad ended a concert of neo-Nazis shortly before last night, local police spokeswoman Ludmila Knopova said. "Racist lyrics which we saw were the reason for the action," Knopova said, adding that roughly 100 participants are suspicious of support to and propaganda of fascism. (...) The police at first intervened shortly before 8:00 p.m., when they detained three participants who tried to smuggle roughly ten black T-shirts with Nazi texts and CDs with similar content into the restaurant. The patrolling police seized T-shirts, badges, caps, DVDs and CDs with extremist content in six cars. The police also detained members of a Dutch rock group who were questioned by the police. Further T-shirts were seized right at the concert. The concert in the Na Vrsich restaurant was reported to the police as a birthday party. It was attended by about 100 Nazi followers. A number of metal and rock groups were to perform there. siehe auch: Police end neo-Nazi concert, Interior Minister gets tough on neo-Nazis.
