13abc.com: Swastika on Brick Update

The Toledo man who says a brick with a swastika was thrown through his window is now denying an Internet story that he is a Nazi. 13abc Action News broke the story of the West Toledo man who says he was the victim of a hate crime. Now Charley Linden says he's been accused of being a Nazi sympathizer Linden says when a brick crashed through his front window last month, he thought it was a threat from Neo-Nazis. Someone had drawn a swastika on that brick. A few days later, what appeared to be another swastika was found carved in a tarp covering the hole in the window. Linden's name has now shown up on a website run by a Neo Nazi group out of Roanoke, Virginia. The site, called Libertarian Socialist News, includes a posting that says anti-racist activists threw bricks with images of swastikas through Linden's home. It also claims Linden works for a local TV news station, and that people involved in the October 15th riot think he might testify against them for allegedly attacking a news vehicle.
