FJC | News | Youth Detained for Vandal Attack on Jewish Cemetery in Ukraine

One month following the vandal attack in the Jewish section of the 'Donetskoye More' Cemetery in Donetsk, officials from the local Internal Affairs Department coordinated a press conference to report that the perpetrators have been identified and detained. According to the police officer responsible, the vandalism incident was met with a very strong reaction in the local and regional media. As a number of elected deputies have taken a great interest in the investigation, the Ministry of Internal Affairs assumed responsibility for handling the case.
