QUEENSLAND'S branch of the Patriotic Youth League claimed it had recruited new members after the racial unrest in Sydney this week. The Queensland chapter of the league claimed on its website that 'numerous new members' were signed up in Cronulla as tensions exploded last Sunday. The league is reportedly linked to skinhead groups, and police said those in the crowd wore boots, braces and clothing with neo-nazi insignias. Posters bearing the Eureka insignia, adopted by white nationalist groups, advertised the league and its post office box numbers in Sydney, Newcastle, Melbourne and Brisbane. According to the website, 'activism gets results'.
