Dzeno Association: Neo-nazi Patrol Streets, Taking the Law into Their Own Hands

Skinheads have started to patrol on the streets of Poruba district in the town of Orlova. Their activity seems to be directed against the local Roma community. The members of the National Resistance, a neo-Nazi group, have essentially formed smaller teams in what they see as an effort to maintain public order in the Czech town of Orlova. More than twenty skinheads “patrol” the streets day and night in turn. The neo-Nazis say that Roma people in the district attack old people, steal non-ferrous metal and that local authorities are failing to do anything about it. The National Resistance even held a press conference over their new campaign, announcing that they would “keep their eyes on the order on streets” at least till the end of the year.
