Two former students of a Sutter County alternative school will spend nine months in federal prison for intimidating black students into dropping out of school. Jared Oreste Giampaoli and Steven Foster Little pleaded guilty to using threats of force to interfere with the black students' civil rights. They and associates who were not charged called students racial epithets and challenged them to fights in August and September 2004.
