Union of Councils for Soviet Jews: Neo-Nazi Leader Arrested Outside Moscow
The founder of Russia's most notorious neo-Nazi group Russian National Unity (RNU) has been arrested outside of Moscow, according to a December 4, 2005 report by the AEN news agency. Aleksandr Barkashov and three of his followers were arrested in connection with an assault on a police officer in the Moscow region's Ozersky district. RNU thugs and police reportedly clashed on December 3.
