Livingstone begins 'Nazi jibe' legal challenge | the Daily Mail

London Mayor Ken Livingstone has lodged papers at the High Court to begin his legal challenge against his suspension and the finding that he brought his office into disrepute for making a Nazi jibe to a Jewish reporter. The Mayor, who is due to begin a four-week suspension on Wednesday (March 1), is seeking permission to apply for judicial review against the Adjudication Panel's decision on Friday. siehe auch: London Mayor appeals against suspension. The Mayor of London lodged an appeal at the High Court today against being suspended for a month for likening a Jewish reporter to a Nazi.
