Arutz Sheva - Assailant in Rostov Synagogue Attack Goes Free
Two days after the January 11 attack on worshipers in a Moscow synagogue, an 18-year-old man attempted something similar in Rostov-na-Donu, as described by the Russian Regional Report on February 1. Armed with a broken bottle and shouting pro-Nazi and anti-Semitic slogans, he entered the synagogue and demanded a meeting with the rabbi. When the rabbi refused to meet him, he tried to attack worshipers. The guard summoned the police, and the attacker was arrested. There were no injuries.
